This month there is an overwhelming amount of planetary activity in Aries, the initiatory sign of the Zodiac. I have asked the staff goddesses who are serious students of astrology to help me frame this astrological moment in a blog. I thank them for their insights, thoughts and Flower Essence suggestions.

Exactly how much Aries energy will there be? Consider April 17th for example. Neptune, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Chiron, the Sun, the Moon and dwarf planet Eris will all be in Aries. An astrological chart of this day is like no other.

The placement of all these planets, asteroids and dwarf planets in Aries brings distinct support to the Aries energy of new beginnings. For example, Mars supports whatever you intiate to actually stick. In this placement, Chiron, which is all about our deepest wounds, encourages us to have the courage to try again even if we were hurt before. Saturn gives the beginning structure and stability. Saturn’s support calls us to initiate something we really want because whatever we begin is very likely to manifest.

Eris, the goddess of strife, discord and rivalry will be conjunct both the Sun and the Moon. In the story of Eris, she threw the apple of discord into a crowd of Greek Gods at a wedding. The apple was inscribed “for the fairest” and ignited a fight with Goddesses Hera, Aphrodite and Athena that initiated the Trojan war. Eris at the astrological party suggests that the astrology is a bit of a double edged sword bringing gifts that need to be used carefully.

So this time is an opportunity to initiate new beginnings in our life which will have a lot of energy behind them. How do we handle this and what Flower Essences might help us?

One of the staff noted that this means how we talk to ourselves this month is really important as even that will manifest.

Centered Birth– This one is going to help us stay balanced and centered as we move forward with the whole birthing process. Centering is so darn important especially as fiery Aries can encourage us to speak or act before we have really considered the ramifications. Snapdragon also helps us when our mouths get ahead of us.
