Each autumn, the Angels unveil the new Flower Essences made at Green Hope Farm during the previous growing season. This year the Angels got the new Essences made, their descriptions written and all of them ready to send out a few weeks earlier than usual. We have been sharing these New Essences for a number of weeks and are learning so much from your feedback. Thank you so much!

Now, in case you haven’t got the handout about these new Flower Essences tucked into a recent order, here are the descriptions with photos of these new beloveds.

For the first time, the Angels had me draw pictures of how specific Flower Essences move in our energy systems. They also offered some specific suggestions for where to place some of these new Essences on your body.

The focus the Angels brought to this year’s new offerings was intense. They have worked hard to give us the tools to assimilate the new divine energies pouring into creation with a special focus on how to help our upper chakras handle these new energies. In the document below, the Angels talk about what they call the Great Leap, this process of us receiving these energies and also manifesting our greater collective destiny.

THE ANGELS OF GREEN HOPE FARM BEGIN BY TALKING ABOUT THE GREAT LEAP

“The seven main chakras of the human body are energy transmitters that move electrical energy throughout your energy system.  They are positioned from the base of the spine to the top of your head.   The focus of the first or root chakra is on the material world to the near exclusion of every other reality and the focus of the seventh chakra at the crown of your head is on pure consciousness with the chakras in-between moving from the concerns of the first chakra to the pure divine consciousness of the seventh chakra. 
 
At this particular moment in humanity’s collective evolutionary journey, humanity is being called to move its primary grounding from the lower three chakras and their issues to the upper chakras’ concerns of heart and spirit.  This does not mean an abandonment of the issues of the first three chakras so much as a tempering of their concerns with a greater focus on the issues of the upper chakras.
 
The first three chakras’ focus on physical survival and a person’s place in the physical world will always be a key part of the individual’s spiritual journey to self realization because each person remains in the physical body until self realization. However, in order for each person to grow in consciousness, these concerns must be infused with the concerns of the heart and the realities of greater oneness consciousness.
 
Because humanity is being called to a collective leap from a lower chakra focus to lives that center around the concerns of higher chakras, more higher frequency energy than ever before is on offer from divinity to support humanity to make this expansive shift in focus.
 
In return, each person must make the effort to lift up from grounding primarily in the concerns of the first three chakras to an embrace of the more evolved upper chakra issues of divine will, divine love and divine wisdom.
 
This summer we encouraged Molly to make Flower Essences that will help you receive this divine energy, distribute and assimilate this divine energy and also help you move up your chakras to “meet and greet” these new energies with balance and calm. 
 
This kind of organized system change is messy.  Try not to judge yourselves.  You would not walk into an operating room mid surgery, see things in progress and declare the surgery a failure, so try not to throw in the towel about how things appear to be going.  Just keep on keeping on, have faith and avail yourself to the tools on offer to support you right now.
 
These Flower Essences are one such tool as are other Flower Essences in the Green Hope Farm Collection.  The Flower Essences we make at Green Hope Farm are here to help you receive these new higher frequencies and make them your own.  They are here to help set a template for your electrical system to make the individual and collective changes necessary at this time.
 
In this new group from the summer of 2012, there are Essences to organize the movement of these energies through your upper chakras in an efficient manner and also keep dissonance that might interfere out of your electrical field while you assimilate and evolve. 
 
It is time for this Great Leap! PS from Molly: The new Flower Essences focused on the tasks described above are asterisked. The Angels noted that placing these Essences on external points of our bodies can help them move through our systems and offer their wisdom more effectively.  Any Angelic suggestion for a specific application of an Essence is explained in the Essence description.  We also created a page of illustrations noting the energetic movement of these new Essences as this is also a very important part of their vibrational signatures.
 
THE NEW FLOWER ESSENCES FROM GREEN HOPE FARM


*Balance in a Blue Moon
The spiritual opportunity we have been given right now is ten thousand times as rare as a Blue Moon, and there are many tools available to us to help us make the most of this opportunity.  This year’s Venus Garden was a project to create a combination Flower Essence remedy that would help us ride these energy changes in a state of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual balance.
 
The garden design was a yin/yang of Purple and White Flowers.  In early June, the seedlings from the greenhouse were transplanted into the garden with considerable love and care.  White Flowers are often more ethereal than other Flowers and not as physically strong, so we were surprised when the White Flowered side of yin/yang was quicker to blossom than the Purple Flower side.  As the summer progressed, the Purple Flowers became more vibrant and abundant, matching the energetic strength of the White Flowers in the garden.  In retrospect, we saw how this reflected the way the spiritual energy on offer from divinity (as represented by the White Flowers) is pouring into our energy systems right now (our energy systems being represented by the more grounded Purple Flowers) and how this spiritual energy must be met, embraced and assimilated by us until we make this energy our own.
 
This Essence was made during this August 2012’s blue moon and holds all the balancing energies of the Venus Garden, the Flowers in the garden and all the Angels and Elementals who have held the energies of the Venus Garden for the past twenty-five years. Butterflies were also a part of this Essence creation as the garden was graced with hundreds of visiting butterflies each and every day. Sometimes the symbolism of metamorphosis & spiritual change is hard to miss!

Canary Island Broom opens a flow of golden light from our crown down around our energy field in an encompassing arc that becomes in and of itself a protective field of light.  This flow also supports the manifestation of our spiritual destiny and divine purpose.  The Angels suggest applying Canary Island Broom to the crown of the head.

*Cosmos Cranberry Double Click Cosmos Cranberry Double Click This deep magenta Cosmos looks exactly like the drawings of the Seventh chakra as depicted in a number of spiritual traditions including Buddhists drawings of this seventh Sahasrara Chakra.  This Flower is a recent hybridization done in divine order.  The Angels say it was created to help us embrace the incoming divine energy so our seventh chakras can more deeply blossom than ever before.  The Angels suggest applying this Essence to the crown of the head.
I AM the full flowering of my seventh chakra.


*Dog Rose Rosa canina Dog Rose supports a grounded use of pure intuition.  In addition, when humans work with this remedy, it will help us to more deeply connect to the wisdom of our beloved canine companions.  Dogs have a very acute intuitive understanding of creation, much more sophisticated than humankind’s, but they are almost always hampered from a full expression of what they know. Dog Rose helps us to access their wisdom with them and thus help them to out-picture this wisdom more completely. Dog Rose also helps us see what is right in front of our noses in terms of the simplest best solutions for whatever dog related dilemmas we are dealing with.  When given to the dogs in our lives, it will help them better communicate with us. In every way it helps us all become more unified teams, and it is an excellent remedy for people and dogs to take simultaneously.  This is a unique remedy for expansion of the sixth chakra!  Dog Rose can be applied to our third eye, spritzed or taken internally.  Our canine friends will like placement on their nose and brow or use in a spritzer.

*Garlic- Allium sativum When Garlic flowers, it sends up a very tall wand topped with a perfect sphere of delicate Flowers.  As a Flower Essence, Garlic is for appropriate relay of electrical data through the sixth chakra aka the third eye.  Garlic also widens the third eye, thus increasing clairvoyance, but in a coordinated manner.  Sometimes clairvoyance can be disorienting, especially in our culture, a culture that does not always validate this skill.  Garlic’s role as a Flower Essence is to help us keep on keeping on even when we are temporarily rocked by our experience of knowing or by people’s reactions to what we know.  This one helps us fully know what we know even if by necessity this knowing is in defiance of the social order. The Angels suggest applying this to the third eye/ center of the brow.
 I AM serene in the experience of divine truth. There is no impediment to what I now.


*Golden Glow- Rudbeckia laciniata hortensia
Towering seven feet in the air, Golden Glow likes to grow in colonies of plants, each stalk  topped by abundant clusters of brilliant yellow generously full Flowers.  Golden glow supports us in our onward and upward journeys by helping us access wisdom that has previously been out of our reach and by expanding our conscious awareness of what we know.  More specifically, Golden Glow is concerned with the nadis, points at which divine wisdom can move in a coordinated disbursal throughout our energy system. The Angels suggest applying Golden Glow in a line from the top of the head down to the back of the neck with a particular focus on placing the Essence on the back of the neck.
 
 I AM the full knowledge of my divine self.



Hollyhock- Alcea The single flowered Hollyhocks used in this Essence help us to smooth and balance all our chakras and enhances our receptivity to the incoming divine energies in all the chakras.  Its overall balancing support helps steady us as our locus of consciousness moves upward.  This combination of encouraging an overall balance of all the chakras while simultaneously encouraging our evolutionary upward journey through our chakras is a rarity in Essences.
On my evolutionary journey, I AM the coordinated, smooth and balanced function of my electrical system.


*Kangaroo Apple Solanum aviculare  Kangaroo Apple is a deep purple Flower that expands the crown chakra to link us more deeply with the five chakras that exist in our energy field but above our physical body and above the seventh chakra.  This is a door opening Flower Essence to the expanded consciousness of these upper chakras, but more pragmatically it helps us translate the incoming divine wisdom and move it more effectively into our physical bodies.  The Angels suggest applying Kangaroo Apple to the top of the head.
I AM Cosmic Bliss.


*Lemon Balm- Melissa officinalis Lemon Balm works to clear inflammations in the third eye/sixth chakra. Sinus infections and sinus pain, headaches or muddled thinking are all possible signs that electrical glitches in the third eye might be eased with this remedy. Lemon Balm is a nuanced Essence as it works very gently but persistently to clear impediments to the smooth running of our sixth chakra and the smooth expansion of light in this chakra when more light must be assimilated into this chakra. The Angels suggest applying Lemon Balm to the third eye/ center of the brow.
I AM clear and calm in thought no matter the circumstances.


*Pickerel Weed- Pondeteria cordata   Pickerel Weed is a seventh chakra receptor that helps us continue to receive divine energy even when we are surrounded by emotional chaos.  This support to stay calm amidst the emotional fray is necessary because these energy changes are going to leave many destabilized people acting out around us.  Additionally, Pickerel Weed helps us be a torchbearer for received energies as well.  It helps us stay true to our spiritual principles in thought, word and deed even amidst radical change or extreme emotional stormy times pressing upon us.  The Angels suggest applying this to the front of the neck in a placement on the fifth chakra, on the third eye and on the top of the head.
I AM serene in my role of spiritual torchbearer.


Pine- Pinus strobus Pine helps us experience “safe harbor.” If you have had to literally move geographic locations, Pine helps you feel at ease in your new home and embraced by your new locale. Pine’s gifts are also about our inner landscapes. It helps us soften our view of self if it has been sharp and critical and made it tough for us to live in our own heads. Pine breaks down the spiky discomfort of constant self criticism and helps us create an inner ambience of softness, comfort, consolation in a gentle place of self acceptance and self love. Pine also helps us move our energies up the chakras and softens our seventh chakra so we receive love and guidance more easily from divinity with less of the resistance that self criticism can engender.  This is a timely remedy for the change process we are embarked upon as spiky self criticism does nothing to help and makes the whole change process that much more arduous.

 *Rose Campion- Lychnis coronaria
Rose Campion is not a Rose but a biennial Flower in the same family as Maltese Cross.  It bears striking deep magenta blossoms atop velvety soft white stalks. If we are presented with a situation in which it has been challenging, if not impossible, to find a bead on love, Rose Campion can help us find the opening to transform the situation into an experience of love.  The Angels describe it as a skeleton key that can open up myriad numbers of diverse “locked down” situations to open us to receive a flood of forgiving, expansive, ever replenishing love. This one is for when we have had a resistant situation that needs to be jimmied open once and for all or when we want to bring the vibration of generous love to a situation that has resisted our best attempts at transformation. This will be helpful right now in increasing the love frequencies each of us can hold in the fourth chakra.

This mix was created to help women in a rape crisis program so that they could receive energetic support immediately after their traumatic experiences. Once we offered the mix to all of you, Sanctuary left the farm to meet a diversity of situations. For example, people felt called to use it on their land to help create an energetic sanctuary, and they noticed many animals arriving to take shelter on the land when Sanctuary had been shared.  Others used it to deal with the pressing demands of their lives or because of other extreme traumas.  We are grateful to be able to share this mix with those called to it.

Receiving the divine energy flooding our systems right now can create fiery situations in our physical vehicles.  Tibouchina works at the very top of our seventh chakra to soften the impact of the higher vibrations as they move into our system.  This has the effect of smoothing electrical glitches in the seventh chakra that then eases extreme reactions to the shifts throughout our entire energy system.  It is particularly good for those whose symptoms of change are a dark night of the soul cosmic despair, extreme angst for all creation or who experience their minds running out of control.  The Angels suggest applying Tibouchina to the top of the head.

*Top Chakra Teasel– Dipsacus sylvestris
Made to the Angels’ very specific requirements, this one creates a complete sanctuary for the top chakra so that we can assimilate the new divine energies uninterrupted and in calm.  Top Chakra Teasel offers very strong protection for the seventh chakra at a vibrational turning point for humanity in which it is important for us to be moving energies in our seventh chakra unimpeded by anything that seeks to disturb. The Angels suggest applying to the top of the head or using in a spritzer bottle to spritz one’s entire head.

*Zebrina Hollyhock 
This one is for the disbursement of the energy of divine authority and power throughout the seventh chakra.  It helps us organize chaotic impulses of action and reaction into steady stream of action in alignment with divine energy thus using this divine energy in accordance with the highest good.
 
I AM the movement of divine power in alignment with divine will.

We’ve had more than a week straight of rain. Much needed rain, but I was ready for today’s sun. It felt glorious to poke around in the soggy gardens.

There is so much surprise beauty in a fall garden even as things have been frosted or look a bit untidy. I was particularly taken by the cabbages today. Cabbage was our first logo two decades ago.

I like that Cabbage was our beginning. There is something very down to earth about this plant but also cosmic.

I never felt we got our cabbage art quite right- but what I always wanted to suggest was the way a cabbage cradles its creation just as we are cradled. This beautiful cabbage says this so well.

And this little bug was another participant in this morning’s gardens.


So much to appreciate. So much…well…… GRACE.

( Yes, I am going to be THAT kind of obnoxious Grandma with a complete wardrobe covered in nauseating slogans, clutching way too many photos, knitting odd and endless projects from washable wool and grinning ear to ear. When I was four I told people I wanted to be a Grandma when I grew up- and well, I meant it!)

It has been a very happy week at the farm as we welcome Grace Viola Ramirez born last Tuesday!

Lizzy, Miguel and Grace are doing wonderfully well, and of course, we all think she is the most amazing baby ever! Special thanks to the office honeybees who made it possible for me to be there as Grace made her appearance into the world and then spend all last week helping the new parents as they settle into their new life with baby Grace!

While the gardens have a bit of that tattered look of early fall, there are beautiful and surprising moments all over the place.

As the weather cools down, the Nasturtiums return to put on another show as do the Mehera Marigolds

Flowers that seed themselves sometimes come along after the rush of annuals I planted. I love the unexpected moments they provide. Here Zinnia “Old Mexico” has seeded itself under some Gaura I planted. The butterfly feel of the Gaura is such a lovely contrast to the zesty Zinnias

I am happy to report all our bee hives are doing a brisk business post bear visit,. The traffic in and out of the hives on these last warm days before winter is unreal. Here a bee friend finds this late season squash blossom that the first frost missed.

Especially sweet are the Roses that bloom a second time each season. Here the Mary Rose glows in the morning light.

The Angels reminded me this morning that today, the Autumn Equinox, is the perfect time to talk to them and tell them your hopes and aspirations for the coming year.

This day begins the cycle for the whole next year’s growing season and so too for our spiritual journeys. During the next three months the Angels will take your requests into account within the big arc of your life plan and come up with a template for change that will first become a plan of action at the Winter Solstice and then be put in full motion at the Vernal Equinox. This is the natural rhythm of the gardens as well as a natural rhythm for our spiritual lives.

The Angels must respect our free will so it is important to be specific when we ask for what we want. I don’t mean asking for ruby slippers size 5- I mean asking for support with specific issues or concerns. As they constantly remind me, they can’t help us with the full range of our hopes and aspirations unless we ask for them to do so.

Yes, they are always there to try and keep us safe and shower us in love, but their support can be much more fine tuned if we ask for fine tuned help. And don’t worry if you don’t read this blog on the Autumn Equinox. The whole fall season is a time of reflection and assimilation of all that has happened in the last year and a time to ask for specific help as it becomes clear what we still need support with.

Blessings to you one and all on this gorgeous and special day of the year. I want to thank you particularly for your kindness and patience as we have gone through this growth spurt. With six new staff joining us in the last couple of weeks, we are beginning to be able to get all the orders out without burning the midnight oil.

I wrote a training manual then Sophie greatly improved it, and now it has helped us do such a better job of explaining everything to our new people and making it that much more likely that your orders will go out just as you would like! Laura, the sixth person taught to ship this month got the benefit of all we learned from teaching Kelly, Alli, Tom, Miguel and Lily….. It has been fun to see Sophie step up to the plate in this teaching role and do such a wonderful job- So a big shout out to Sophie! As this week ended we had almost everybody trained to ship, invoice and email- soon we will tackle the phones!

When Emily lived in Sicily and created our Sicily and Santorini Flower Essence collection from some wonderful Mediterranean Flowers, she made several Flower Essences from Flowers native to Tunisia and also travelled to Tunisia which is only one hundred and five miles from the Sicilian coast.

We have been listening to Emily’s stories of Tunisia again and asking different questions than we did the first time when we focused on descriptions of Emily riding a camel. We have actually been thinking of Tunisia a lot this last year because Jim’s best friend, Jake Walles, is the ambassador to Tunisia for the United States.

Tunisia is next door to Libya and this was just one of many reasons that Jake was very good friends with Chris Stevens, the Ambassador to Libya who died last week in Benghazi. Jake and Chris worked together during several State Department postings and this spring, they actually shared a Senate confirmation hearing to become Ambassadors in the neighboring countries.

Jim took a rare trip down to Washington DC this summer to see Jake sworn in as the Ambassador to Tunisia. The ceremony was at the State department, and it took Jim about two months to get clearance to attend the event. For this country mouse with a love for all things history, it was a really big deal for him to be there to bear witness to Jake’s career milestone.

When Jim returned home, the thing he mentioned again and again was how Secretary of State Clinton spoke about Jake at the ceremony in a very personal way as a compatriot she knew well and genuinely respected. Jake has worked tirelessly for many presidents and Secretary of States. After a first posting in Amsterdam in the early eighties, Jake switched focus to the Middle East, and since then, he has had State department postings all over the Mediterranean and Middle East, including a posting as the charge d’affaires in Greece and consular general to the Jerusalem Embassy. He was posted in Tel Aviv when Saddam sent missiles into the city and has often been right in the middle of some very upsetting and dangerous situations. Since his early twenties, Jake has given his life to trying to help this region of the world. This week we are earnestly hoping he won’t literally lose his life to the conflict.

Late Friday night, we were relieved to hear briefly from Jake that he is safe. We wonder what more we can do than pray.

This morning I felt encouraged to turn my attention the Sicily & Santorini Essences again. Flower and their Essence wisdom speak exactly to the healing concerns of the region in which they were grown and made. Feelings of disenfranchisement, powerlessness, separation and fear of our differences are issues which all humanity shares yet they are coming to a head here in this part of the world, and the region’s local Flower Essences address these issues.

The Angels went deeper in explaining this link. They reminded me that while our tendency is to make explosive problems like these we see on our televisions something outside ourselves, what is happening in northern Africa is happening within all of us. As each of us own our own shadow parts and work to bring them into the light and heal these wounds, we help the whole planet. This is, in fact, a planet without boundaries so as we heal ourselves we heal the whole world.

As I pursued my fall weekend activities including harvesting winter squash in an idyllic and peaceful country setting, it seemed a long way from the scene in front of the Tunisian Embassy where Jake works. But when Emily and I spent some very heated hours trying to sew book bags for her first grade classroom with a sewing machine with a mind of its own, well……..I was reminded that greater calm and emotional balance is ALWAYS possible even in a quieter life, and I was encouraged to just take the Sicily and Santorini Essences again in the hopes that every little bit we all do from our quieter eddies will help to lighten the load of the whole planet.

Flowers that flourish in extremely exposed terrain have to work so hard to express themselves. What a wonder it is that they express beauty and expansive welcoming good cheer despite the way circumstances make it so difficult for them to flourish. Such a lovely energetic reminder to us all!
Red Flower from Santorini supports us to thrive again after things explode in our lives and helps us to respond to radical change with creativity, strength, fearlessness and adaptability not further violence.

There is almost no soil on the caldera of the volcano in Santorini, yet the entire slice of land is covered in this Flower. For me this Flower Essence reminds us that there are always resources for us to flourish if we only remember to go inward.
Tree Medick helps when external forces have made our lives heavy and we feel bogged down by helping us flood our energy systems with divine light and then hold and radiate this light as a natural state of being.

Maybe it was the name or maybe it was some old friendship we had but Tree Medick called to me a long time before we met, and I was so very happy when a Flower Essence friend in Barcelona sent me some of this remedy. When Emily returned from her trip with this Essence in tow, I was delighted to have it to share with all of you. Tree Medick really does help us fill with light, hold this light and share this light in such a friendly inclusive way.

Sicilian Wild Sweet Pea‘s affirmation explains its energetic strength so well, I AM open to the truth of my situation and ready to begin a process of harmonious change.


Sweet Pea from the Green Hope farm gardens is our number one remedy for sleep issues, but Sweet Pea also has a component of helping us with issues of community. Here, the original Sweet Pea from Sicily- the grand dame of all Sweet Peas- helps us get to the root of our issues and understand where things went wrong and what we can do about it.
Scarlet Pimpernel from La Rocca– I have always loved how Emily and the Angels expressed the wisdom of this Flower Essence, “Being one with God means that none of this work can be bigger than us- We can do it.”

And this little powerhouse can remind us of that- no matter what the situation!

Italian Sainfoin holds wisdom about constructively managing our emotional response when something explodes in our lives or we experience violation or violence against us. It helps us find a balance in our emotions neither a passive response nor a reactive one but a creative transmutation of the energies. I love it’s I AM affirmation, I AM the creative transformation of all violence directed at me.


This Italian Sainfoin Flower Essence was made in the west of Sicily on Motia, a tiny island that once was a hub of ancient civilization for the Phoenicians and Carthaginians until its destruction by the Greek tyrant Dionysius the elder of Syracuse in 379 BC.

This Flower is found throughout the Mediterranean, but Emily making the Essence from Flowers at Motia brought an extra oomph to the Essence as this is a place that had to find its self identity after being violated. It is now the site of small art museum of very rare antiquities with the rest of the island left in a natural state.

It is interesting to note that the ruins of Carthage, where the Carthaginians that settled Motia were from, lie in a suburb of Tunis, Tunisia. Carthage’s most famous citizen was Hannibal who tried to conquer the Roman empire in the Second Punic War (218-201 BC). After several surprise victories and a famous march through the Alps with elephants, Hannibal was defeated by the Romans in 202 BC and Carthage became a client state of Rome and her fourth most important city. Carthage was destroyed in 698.
